Today was spent in a few areas of the city, an appointment at my branch, which it turns out I didn't really need (my personal banker said I coulda just emailed her my request to open a new account and she would have done it... boy I like her), on Sargent trying on a tux, then at Polo Park mall, trying to find a present for Shane and buying shoes. James hung out with me while we were trying to find some sorta proper wedding present for Shane (who's getting married this Friday), to no avail. So it's down to where we're all going to chip in $100 or so and give him cash. We also cobbled together something of a party for Shane on the 1st, after the wedding rehersal. Hopefully it'll come to fruition. Then James' gf showed up and we parted ways, and I managed to find some pretty snazzy dress shoes at Aldo's (see picture below).
I was planning on buying new glasses for the wedding, but my enhanced benefit plan doesn't start until July 1st, and I can't buy new glasses before then. The wedding's on July 2nd, and I don't have to be at Shane's place until 11am or so... so, I suppose I do have time before then to find some new frames and get them made up. But, I don't see that happening. I'll take care of it on Saturday or something.
Anyways, that's it for now.
