CBC has locked out some of its staff, and as a result cbc.ca has suffered badly. As well, Newsworld seems to be mostly airing BBC news, rather than my preferred CBC news. This bothers me. I rely on cbc.ca for my daily hits on news. I suppose for the duration of the lockout I'll redirect to the Globe and Mail site.
Message to the stupid union: Stop being asshats.
I wish Fox News would go on strike. Thankfully, I don't have that channel, but just knowing they weren't on at full capacity would make me a little happier.
How ironic. Due to the labour disruption at CBC, the following link is unavailable. But, if you ain't a fan of foxnews and you is a fan of CBC, watch this clip when the disruption's over.

Is that the one where Anne Coulter insists that Canada fought in Vietnam?
*shiver* Urgh. I hate even thinking of her.
Yeah that's the one. It's such a great piece of journalism, and at the same time it's so disturbing to watch :/
Yup, stupid Anne Coulter.
matt,
my suggestion for a hobby would be to actually READ the Globe and Mail before you decry the "stupid union" as "asshats". The unionized workers were LOCKED out by "stupid management". The Globe and Mail has done the most thorough coverage, read the news articles and the columns if you have an online subscription. Then my next suggestion for a hobby will be to a) write your MP b) write the CBC board of Directors c) write an open letter to the newspaper of your choice d) write the CBC and e) post a new blog correcting your "stupid union/asshats" comment. While you're at it, can you please define "asshat?"
There ya go. You now have way less time on your hands than I do (not by my choice I might add)
