Apologies AGAIN for the lack of updates. There's no real reason, and I have no excuse other than laziness. But, aha, inspiration.

[insert picture here of me sitting there, once I put new batteries in my camera so I can transfer the file]

This weekend has been utterly gorgeous in Winnipeg. Between 20-24*C for most of the time, and completely sunny without rain. This is how I wish summer would stay. I don't need it to get any closer, or above 30*C. As I type this I'm sitting out in the sun porch that makes up the front of my house, on the futon that's in it, enjoying the sun and the breeze that smells like summer. Got the tunes playing on my laptop, and my parent's dog (who's visiting for the weekend while they're in exotic Dauphin) lying here beside me. The cat, is somewhere in the house. She's not scared of him anymore, but he is very cautious around the cat.

A couple of things:

1. I need to get a bike, but a used one because I am cheap and not willing to pay for a new one.
2. I have an old dryer that's been sitting in the back yard since last November. Does anyone have any creative ideas how it could be used? NB: I do have a deck back there as well, so I was thinking it could be fashioned into some sort of thing around entertaining outside.
3. I should get some kickass sorta windchimes.
4. I have a scar on my arm from where my roommate was playing cutting me with a plastic knife, way back when we were a couple (high school and the year following).

Anyways, time to go google "things to do with an old dryer", and get my glasses so as to better spy on the neighbourhood.

    Thanks for the comment :)

Maybe we're just not lucky enough to get tickets for Dallas Green.

That's the only thing I hate about Deal or No Deal, the people are so stupid, oh yes, and it does get boring after awhile, but you got to love Howie Mandel. Some of the people on the show are nuts, I would be happy to get anything over 200 dollars. Sometimes people can be really greedy.

You should decorate your deck with that old dyer and a bunch of windchimes, I bet it would be a great conversation starter for when you have company.

Have a wonderful Easter. Oh yeah, glad you like my new template, I would be happy to make you one, no charge :) Take care.

You should make the dryer into a cooler for beer and drinks during BBQs. Fill that puppy up with ice! :)

LOL, or you could plant flowers and start a new trend in gardening....ghetto-appliance-chic.

    :)

I'd say paint all psychadelic-like and definitely plant flowers in it.

Wow... sounds like you guys had great weather there.

    Have fun windchime shopping!

Oh, I agree with you about the 30+ weather. Completly unneccessary.
