So the Conservatives won a slim minority government. Stephen Harper is our new Prime Minister. Oh man.

    Oh man... I'm sooooooooo bummed. At least he won't have enough power to do anything horrid like get rid of Kyoto or gay marriage or healthcare.

    Someone called him the Prime Minister today and it made me vomit a little in my mouth.

    Also, as I was walking to the subway, I tried to not look at any newspapers and I almost walked into a lamp post. (There are lots of newspaper boxes on my street.)

    yes. disappointing indeed, but take heart. at least you don't have gwbush in charge. that screw up has totally ummmm... screwed up our country down south.

    plus... at least you all get to call elections again if the government implodes. we have to wait an unchanging 4 years to recover from mistakes.
