ahhh playoff hockey is back! Two years hence!
I just witnessed a heartbreaking loss:

Edmonton vs. Detroit.
Second overtime period.
58 shots on Edmonton's goalie Roloson.
over 110 shots in total fired at the Edmonton net.
2-2.
Crappy goal deflected off of an Edmonton player.
3-2.
Doh.

Oh well, first game, first round. They've got plenty of time.

Ottawa won, which was good to hear. At least this year they don't have the dreaded Toronto-elimination curse to worry about.

I'm not a hockey nut or anything, but there's something about playoff hockey that makes it nice and exciting.

Tomorrow my dad's coming over and we're taking the shingles off the garage roof and seeing about fixing a little sag in it. Should be fun... well, at least he's bringing McDonald's breakfast.

I got my "United States of the Internet" poster from diesel sweeties today, yay! I'll picture it later.

Yay for your dad bringing McDonald's breakfast! So greasy, yet so good.

The only hockey I ever watch is Olympic gold medal round hockey (when applicable) and if a Canadian team makes it to the finals, I'll pay attention.
