So as some of you know, I've been off from work this week. I didn't go anywhere, despite at least one invite, since I really don't have any money for it. I just got my property tax bill today. Take my advice, don't buy a house when you're still not really ready to settle down. Learn from my mistake.

I haven't done much, I did get a lot of reading done on the sundeck thing some days this week. I still have to get around to going for a haircut, and taking a trip up to my old branch to drop off the keys. Other than that, I don't really have much to do. Oh, well I guess the kitchen could use some cleaning.

I can get new eye glasses (read: frames) either next month, or the month after. I'm quite excited about that. I like the ones I have now, but I'm always excited about new things.

It's been awful and hot and muggy here the past few days, I hope this doesn't last. The weatherman promised a thuderstorm tonight, but it really doesn't look like we'll get it... sigh. A guy can dream.

edited due to the obvious confusion, as per Christielli's comment.

Lazing about the house and reading on the sundeck is good for the soul.

The whole house thing is a Catch-22. If you buy, you may feel overwhelmed but if you keep renting you have people going on and on about how you're wasting your money.

I read about you getting new glasses and I thought "huh? what does he drink out of if he doesn't have glasses." I reread and understood. I'm slow somedays.

    Hope you get your storm!

Oh! 21st Century living! Very nice Matt Good song.

You should pick up some nice new black frames. Now that would be quite spiffy.

At least at your place it's hot and muggy. I wish for that weather here, it would be a change from the gray skies.

    Take care.

Ahhh, well, at least you always have the option to sell your house and walk away relatively debt free. Heck, the market is good enough that you may even make a little cash. I would have to live in a cardboard box with my katz if I were to sell my house. Maybe sell my kidneys. Wanna buy a kidney?

LOL I can't believe my slowness caused an edit. I bet you I'm the only person who would have been confused at that sentence...
