day old hate

Saturday, May 13, 2006

So I had an interview today by two managers at a branch I don't really want to go to. I'll write more about that later.

After work, in the early evening I was bored and my friends were off doing other things, or otherwise indesposed. I decided to go see a movie, and I had seen The Promise playing at the Globe theatres downtown, so I went to see it. Click on that link for the IMDB page, which will give you among other things, a synopsis.
It's a Chinese movie, and was essentially the story of a slave's redemption. Excellent battle scenes and effects. I believe that some of the people in the battle scenes were actually killed, and since it's a Chinese film, who's going to argue? lol
Then after returning, I was bored so chatted up another friend and we went to see the midnight showing of Date Movie, at the cheap seats. It was an enjoyable time, though the movie ended up being quite short.

Now time for sleep, because tomorrow brings gardening!

I hope everything works out with you and your work.

I hate when you really want to get out and all your friends are busy. It's a good thing you enjoyed the movie though, both movies.

It's been such a beautiful day outside around my place, hopefully it'll be just as nice at yours, have a great time gardening :)

Gardening is fun! Asian movies are not. We have an asian movie fest here every year...and I was dragged there countless times by an ex of mine. I wanted to poke my eye out.

    I'd rather be gardening :P
