trial by fire

Saturday, October 28, 2006

Okay, so last week I bought a programmable thermostat from Canadian Tire. I installed in on Thursday, set up the programs, and it was working well. The temperature would go down when I was asleep, and when I left for the day for work.
Good right?
Well by Friday night, the furnace wasn't responding to the thermostat anymore.... so the heat wouldn't go on.
Now I have absolutely no idea why it WAS working, but isn't any more, other than it and my piece of shit furnace are conspiring to drive me mad.

Err seriously not cool man. That's too bad that it turned out to be a piece of shit. Did you return the thermostat to Canadian Tire to get your money back?

Hopefully you will get your furnace fixed soon since it is starting to get quite cold outside.

Matt, don't go mad, don't let the thermostat and furance win!
