I'd say that my posting frequency has decreased, though I've never been that frequent with the updates anyways. Perhaps I could say it this way: Frequency = events over time. I've been hanging out at Nadien's place, and watching my fair share of movies and tv shows on dvd. Invader Zim = awesome.
Right, so the Revolution controller. I first saw it late at night while sleepy, and admittedly wasn't too impressed. I was a bit worried about how I'd play zelda with that. BUT. Then I read an awesome article that cube.ign.com has on the controller, and now I'm really excited about it. Said controller is pictured below.
It sure looks like Nintendo took some design cues from Apple, which is never a bad thing. Combining the left analogue-stick 'nunchuku' add on, will make for a real seamless and inutitive control scheme for any game, first-person-shooter games especially. But there's awesome potential there for any game, as the motion-sensitive controller is like a super-intuitive right analogue stick, only better.
Anyways, I think that ign.com article will convince anyone who initially thought "What a stupid thing." to at least be interested in trying it out. After all, the last major change to a game system controller was the analogue stick (Nintendo64), and even that wasn't a 'new' thing. This motion sensitive thing should be pretty neat.
Thanks for recommending "Tonight". I downloaded it yesterday and I love it!
Umm... yeah... I don't have too much to say about said controller since it probably won't be compatible with my old-school pea-green game boy, which is the latest Nintendo technology that I own. I do have a PS2 and the kids at school think I'm cool for it, although all the games they recommend to me are too violent.
Glad you like it, I'm still waiting for my Stars t-shirt. They sent me a medium instead of the large one I ordered, so I'm waiting on the right size.
Gah! That would be disappointing to be waiting for your Tshirt and then finally get it and have it be wrong.
