when the power's out, in the heart of man

Thursday, September 08, 2005

So the power went out at the branch today, around 1:45. It tried to come on 2 or 3 times, but to no avail. What'd that mean? Locking clients out and laughing at them as they read the sign on the door that says 'closed due to power outage' and then continue to knock, or yank on the handle. So I got to leave at 3:45 or so, which was nice and all, except it was prime-time for highschool and university kids to go home, sothe buses were PACKED.
I finally got my Diesel Sweeties bag in the mail! See?

And now I have to catch a bus for my class :P

Power failures inevitably remind me of the big blackout of a couple summers ago here in Toronto. It was actually fun wandering around the city with a flashlight.

Argh. High schoolers on buses. Not fun.

Receiving something you ordered in the mail. Fun.

Yes, especially something I ordered over a month ago :P But don't let that turn you off of ordering from dieselsweeties.com. I've ordered a few shirts from there and got them right-quick.
