Last night was the Birthday Massacre show. There were less people there than I anticipated, thusly it was a pretty great show. Nadine got a bunch of great pictures, all of which are available on my flickr site under the tag 'birthday massacre'. If you've never heard the band, I recommend you click on the title of this post and visit their site, where you can listen to a few songs. I suppose I would describe their sound as '80s-inspired horror pop'. Some of the songs are pretty synth-heavy, and I couldn't help but be reminded of an 80s sound.
When I first read the title of your post I was like "a birthday? a massacre? what?" but then I realized that I was being too literal, as I tend to be.
Hmmm, I will have to check 'em out.
They look interesting.
Re: Relient K. I'm actually not too into them... I just have 'em on my iPod 'cuz my friend lent me their CD. I haven't listened to them all that much, but my friend really likes them. I like their song "Be My Escape" the best.
Dude, just to let you know, I always get a security warning when I visit your site. and I think a spyware software is trying to install itself onto my computer. You may want to check that out.
Have a good Thursday :)
Looks like a good time was had a the show... very cool.
I get the same thing popping up when I go to your site.
Scott
There are two popups I know of. One is from some goddamned flash thing that I can't seem to get rid of, I contacted Blogger and they just pawn it off saying that it's stuff on my computer, even though there's no way that could be. The other is from a picture I liked to on the New Flyer site, which apparently their certificate has expired. I didn't care enough to do anything about it.
That thing that pops up is horrible. Hopefully your'll be able to get that fixed.
I've never heard of that band. I'll have to check them out sometime.
You got to love the 80's.
Take care.
