Wow Stars was an AMAZING concert tonight. We had some not-great seats behind the soundboard guy, but that didn't really matter. They played about 15 songs from the setlist, then came back for 3 more encore songs. By virtue of being behind the soundman we could see the setlist, and I was sad that Calendar Girl and Celebration Guns weren't on the list. Thankfully Calendar Girl was the last song they did during the encore. One hell of an awesome concert. Those guys have some amazing voices live. I picked up a shirt and a pack of buttons. I also noticed that there was a very high volume of good-looking girls at the show, Stars have some pretty fans.
I bought some rechargable 'high drain' batteries, thinking that they'd be perfect for my digital camera. Well They lasted for 2 pictures, with no flash. What pieces of shit. I'm very tempted to take these right back to Futureshop for a refund. What shitty batteries. And yes, I charged them first, overnight. The charging light was off.
So, the only picture I got was from my cell phone. You can kinda see Stars on the stage.

The rechargables that came with my digicam suck! At first they were ok and lasted a while, but now after 10 pictures they start to drain. I just hate rechargables in general. In theory, they're good, but whatever is good in theory never works. Gotta love technology! :)

Yay Stars!! They are sooooooooooooooo good live. I can't wait for them to come back to TO. Apparently they'll be here in March for the Indie awards, but I think they'll be a lot of other bands just playing one or so songs, so it won't really be a just-Stars concert so I might not bother going because I can see myself getting grumpy if there are crappy bands on stage.

Yay swag! I bought myself a Stars bag when I saw them.

Don't you remember my long griping post about the crappy rechargable batteries that I bought for my camera. Same thing... two pics and they're done. However, I discovered this long after I'd opened it and chucked the receipt so no refund for me. I swear by Energizer Lithium batteries. They're a bit pricy but they last for freaking ever! I mean, one pair lasted me for a week and a half in Australia!

Okay, guess I don't have to blog tonight because I totally just blogged on your blog.
