So my weekend was all right. It was somewhat uneventful. My roommate was gone to Grand Forks or something, so I just mostly chilled out and made the most of my last few days of doing nothing. Saturday I visited Nadine and her friends at the Die Maschine for a few drinks. Sunday I met my mom for lunch at McNally Robinson, and then took advantage of her van to do some grocery shopping.

Tonight I bbqued me some pickerel, and some asparagus. It was quite tasty.

Anyways, short post for today I suppose.

I was eating out of a bag of Doritos Sweet Chili Heat nachos, and noticed something. Changing the creases and angle of attack on a picture on a chip bag can result in fun:

Yay for minivans to take you grocery shopping!

Hahaha at your chip bag pictures. It kind of reminds me of this old Will Ferrell SNL skit where he is yelling at a baby to look at this big boat but all the baby will look at is a greasy chip bag. If you've seen this, it's so funny.

Well, I survived the strike. Hope it's another 10 years 'til there's another.

Did you buy the Amy Millan CD today?

I'm sorry to hear that your weekend was boring. Hopefully next will be a lot better.

bbqued asparagus? I've never in my life had that. Never even heard of anyone making bbqued asparagus. So it was good then? I'm liking that chip bag though.

PS I'll be sure to send you an invitation to my movie party :D

fun that you tried the chip bag thing - love that you took a pic of it. BBQ'd asparagus is so tasty.....well almost all things on the BBQ are better.
