starry starry night

So here we are again.
Last weekend was fairly uneventful... well maybe. Friday night I just hung out at home, Saturday night was the wedding social of a friend of mine's brother, so me and some friends went there. After there we went back to the friend's place for a fire. It was enjoyable.
Sunday I did nothing but hang around the house here.

2 interesting things happened to me today:

1) I phoned 911 for a native guy at a bus stop downtown. He said he was stabbed twice in the stomach. There seemed an awfully small amount of blood for that, but who am I to argue. I was impressed by the police and fire truck showing up in less than 3 minutes.
and
b) I learned (officially) today, that my roommate and her boyfriend are getting married. The wedding is apparently going to be next year. I have mixed feelings about the situation (in that they've only been together for a few weeks), but she seems happy which is what it's all about, I suppose.

Lucky you, I had to work on Friday. I would have loved to just stay home and hang out.

That's pretty crazy! So was that guy ok in the end? How weird would that be, to randomly tell someone that you've been stabbed twice.

Geez, their getting married? That's a little soon. It's a good thing that she is happy and all, but can you really get to know a person enough to want to marry them in a few weeks?

    Take care :)

Oh my about having to call about the guy being stabbed.

Oh my about your roomie and her bf getting engaged so quickly. I guess if she's happy it's all good.

those are 2 very interesting things that happened today. I really enjoy you analyzing the blood lose in your head....not that it would have changed whether you call or not - but nice to know if the multiple stabbing is for real.

I imagine the guy was okay, he was stumbling around the whole time and I got on my bus sometime shortly after the ambulance got there. I had places to be and people to see (read: I wanted to go home and do nothing).

Poor guy! I hope he's ok!

Congrats to your roomie...although it does seem kind of quick. But who are we to question fate? LOL, who am I kidding....that's freakin' quick. I hope she continues to be happy :)
